Accounts Officer – Brisbane QLD

CDJ Equipment, Brisbane, based in Acacia Ridge, have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounts Officer.
The Accounts Officer is responsible for effectively carrying out all daily administrative, clerical and accounting related functions whilst contributing to our positive and safe working environment.
Duties include –
- Timely and accurate collections of debts with an aim of reducing average days aging
- Prompt attention to default client accounts
- Contact with clients, CJD state departments and other CJD businesses to ensure achievement of debt collection objectives
- Reconciliation of cash sale account on a weekly basis
- Process employee expense claims on a weekly basis
- Preparation and processing cheque payments as required
- Manage the opening of new customer accounts in consultation of Head Office
- Assist with collation of timesheets for payroll
- Relieve reception as required
- Other duties, as required
Qualifications and experience
- Proven track record in a similar role or environment
- Computer literate with good skills in Microsoft Office software
- Current motor vehicle licence and own transport (Limited public transport options available)
