Administrator – New Truck Builds

CJD are building a brand-new modern facility to accommodate all New Truck Builds as we continue to grow our footprint in WA as the leading supplier of KENWORTH & DAF trucks.

Due to growth and internal promotion, we seek an experienced Service Administrator to join our friendly team at our Forrestfield branch.  This newly created position will be the backbone of administration within New Builds, ensuring the smooth coordination of all administrative operations within the New Truck Builds department.

The position offers a variety of duties and challenges so the successful candidate will need to know how to juggle several tasks at a time – from maintaining the New Build Workshop ‘Floor Plan’, to communicating with our suppliers and the service department ensuring all costs are allocated to the correct truck order, not to forget the general administrative duties such as receipting invoices, raising purchase orders, accounts payable and coding to the correct GL accounts and coordinating the weekly payroll timesheets. Every day will keep you busy and on your toes!

Other duties include,

  • Assigning Trucks into stock
  • Answering phone enquiries
  • Assisting with Whole Goods audits and financial auditors
  • Providing relief cover for reception (as required)
  • Supporting staff social events
  • Assisting with Leasing invoices, PO’s and agreements

To succeed in this role, you will need,

  • A commitment to safety, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and your workmates
  • Previous administration experience where you learned to juggle
  • An understanding of the range of products CJD Trucks has to offer
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build trusting working relationships (internal & external)
  • A high level of professionalism, a can-do attitude, and willingness to work as a positive team member
  • Current Driver’s Licence (not essential but will help as public transport is limited)
