After Sales Representative – Construction Equipment

CJD Equipment is seeking an After Sales Representative to join our successful Guildford Team, to attract new customers and provide a second-to-none service to our existing customers! Reporting to the State Parts Manager – CE WA, you will work closely with the rest of the team to develop strategies and achieve your targets.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to customer service. Experience in a similar after-sales or customer support role is preferred, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

A day on the job will see you: 

• Spend quality time on customer sites to understand their needs and support them in selecting the most suitable aftermarket offering.
• Carry out inspections of wear items such as the undercarriage and G.E.T for the purpose of predicting remaining component life expectancy before replacement.
• Actively seek out new customers, including cold calling, and use your knowledge of specific aftermarket offering to generate new business.
• Provide accurate and timely quotations to customers and carry out the necessary follow up.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Represent CJD at meetings and trade shows in an effort to promote our brands, services, and products.

What you need to get the job done:

• Australia drivers’ licence and the ability to travel to customers.
• A proven track record in a similar role within a hands-on operational environment.
• Relevant trade certificate – highly beneficial.
• Solid understanding of machinery and their unique applications.
• Computer and Microsoft Office skills and great communicator both written and verbal.
• A demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships, resulting from your honesty and integrity.
