Branch Manager – TRP Bibra Lake
CJD Equipment is seeking an experienced Branch Manager who is keen to take on this busy role of Branch Manager at TRP Bibra Lake.
Reporting to the Executive GM – Operations & Business Development, you will be tasked with achieving optimum parts sales through the effective use of the company’s assets and human resources.
You will lead the daily operation associated with parts sales, ensuring that all activities contribute to enhancing new & current business performance through continuous improvement initiatives, along with driving long term profitable growth objectives.
This is a strategically focused role that will be involved with new business development and planning while continuously overseeing the operational side of the branch; you will develop, lead and mentor a parts & warehouse team through successful sales and business development strategies that you will create and implement. Leading by example is your management style, whilst focusing on a ‘hands-on’ approach within all areas of running the branch and its operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Development of parts related sales opportunities through research and marketing in consultation with senior management.
- Develop all key product lines including TRP, Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, and heavy duty multi combination trailer parts.
- Develop and implement work programs and initiatives to facilitate the achievement of profit targets.
- Maintain and develop regular contact with both new and regular clients, both at the branch and on-site visitation.
- Ensuring employee training is up to date confirming compliance with company policies.
- A clear understanding in OHS legislation, Hazard Id’s, incident reporting and follow up.
- Monitor warehouse pick / pack accuracy, stock holding, inventory control, stock ordering & receipting
- Showroom merchandising display management and retail activity.
- Ability to build relationships with other CJD branches and locations across Perth and WA.
Key Attributes
Due to the technical and operational requirement of this role, we expect that the successful candidate will have an industry-based background with relevant experience within the truck parts, transport spares and equipment along with heavy-duty truck knowledge
- Parts success with a parts management role with approx. 2+ years of direct hands on experience and an operational environment

- Excellent communication and relationship building skills

- Current driver’s license and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
