CJD Trucks Warranty Controller – Western Australia
We currently have a position for an experienced Warranty Controller – Trucks. The responsibilities will include the timely and efficient processing of the manufacturer’s warranty claims as well as assisting in the administration of the warranty processes.
To be considered for this role, you will need to be able to demonstrate:
•Responsibility for the timely creation, maintenance, processing and transmittal of machine warranty claims to manufacturers for all branches and dealers.
•Provide documentation and control for branch and service department functions in relation to warranty jobs and claims to manufacturers.
•Prepare and maintain submitted claims lists for all branches and dealers.
•Follow up on the timely presentation to the National Warranty Department of all jobs for processing into warranty claims.
•Provide a report to the Service Manager on a monthly basis of claims submitted and approved for payment by the manufacturer.
•Assist the Service Administration with warranty account reconciliation’s as required.
•Supervise and assist manufacturers’ representatives during warranty audits.
•Assist in the service department administration as instructed from time to time by supervisors or Managers.
•Develop, recommend and implement improvements in the administrative procedures and routines in the service department to improve productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
•Assist in development of dealer communication and relations to improve the customer service and experience market demands.
•Develop documentation of work processes and routines in the service department. Develop and document service department and warehouse operations in the Company Procedures Manual.
Other personal attributes required to successfully fill this role are;
•Previous experience in the handling and processing of warranty claims using online systems
•Analytical and methodical skills with a good computer literacy
•Good organisational and administration skills gained in service administration environment
•Previous experience in dealership and / or truck related industry will place you ahead of the pack
•Good understanding of the mechanics of heavy commercial trucks will be highly advantageous
•Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
