Parts Interpreter Cadet / Storeperson
Are you an experienced Storeperson interested in developing your skills into a career in Parts Interpreting? CJD Equipment has a fantastic opportunity for a Parts Interpreter Cadet / Storeperson to join our highly experienced Geraldton team, where you will be provided with all the on-the-job training and mentoring you will need to set yourself up for a long, successful career in Parts Interpreting.
This role is an integral part of the team and daily operations of the business and will have you working with world-class products such as KENWORTH and DAF TRUCKS, and VOLVO CE and SDLG products.
A day in the role will see you:
- Training to identify, source and sell spare parts and other parts as required.
- Receiving incoming freight including stock orders and receipting into inventory system.
- Putting away incoming stock and assigning to pending customer orders
- Pick customer orders for pickup, delivery or dispatch.
- Deliver parts to customers (vehicle provided).
- Prepare invoices and other finance arrangements for the sale of stock.
- Provide parts support to internal workshop operations.
Ideally, you will have:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs (outlook, excel, word)
- The ability to work well under pressure and be a team player
- A current police clearance or willing to obtain one
- Valid ‘C’ class driver’s licence
- A forklift licence (recommended but not essential)
- Previous parts and/or warehousing experience (advantageous)
