Parts Interpreter – KENWORTH & DAF Trucks
Are you ready to take the next step from the warehouse or workshop to trade up for a career in Parts Interpreting? With business booming, we are taking on PARTS INTERPRETERS to identify, source, and sell PARTS for our Brands such as Kenworth & DAF Trucks.
Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, we are looking for those who have a passion for the automotive industry. To kick start your career, you will get one-on-one coaching to get up to speed with KENWORTH & DAF products. Once you learn the job and gain experience, you may become a future leader of CJD Equipment and there are plenty of career advancement opportunities within CJD!
A day on the job will see you:
- Assist our loyal customers and the internal workshop team to identify the parts they need.
- Source parts, then execute your procurement and dispatch plan to get their parts to them, safely and quickly.
- Keep our customers up to date on the status of their ordered parts, so we exceed their customer service expectations.
- Prepare invoicing and financial arrangements for the sale of stock.
- Identifying the perfect part using the company’s and manufacturer’s systems.
- Getting involved in stock takes and stock rotation as needed.
Your application will go to the top of our shortlist you have:
- Experience working in stores or warehousing, or alternatively workshops, within the heavy industries sector.
- Top attention to detail and you’re pretty good with number crunching.
- Loads of drive, energy, and autonomy, with a can-do attitude.
- You can pass a pre-employment medical and D&A test.
- Charismatic personality, with the ability to get on well with your manager, team, customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels.
- We know this goes without saying, but just in case you thought we forgot … pretty decent computing skills.
