Parts Interpreter – Level 1
CJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join the team at our established Sydney Branch!
Whether you’re experienced in the parts department or looking to learn, this opportunity will allow you to develop a long career in Parts Interpreting, gaining experience with world-class products such as Volvo and SDLG construction equipment. This role will have you become a critical member of the team, responsible for providing a professional service to both our customers and workshop employees.
A day on the job will see you:
- Process sales enquiries via telephone and email.
- Provide support to customers with trouble shooting problems.
- Use company and manufacturer systems to identify parts for the workshop staff and field technicians.
- Support your team in opening work / customer orders.
- Prepare invoices and other finance arrangements for the sale of stock. Process customer and workshop credits.
- Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form across all levels of the business as well as with third parties of the business.
Requirements for the role:
- Parts interpreting experience is preferred but not essential. Experience working in stores or warehousing, or alternatively workshops. You might be a Store Person, Tradesperson or Trades Assistant who is ready for a change of scenery.
- A current Australian driver’s licence.
- A can-do attitude, you go the distance to deliver excellence to internal and external customers.
- Ability to complete a pre-employment medical.
