Parts Interpreter
CJD Equipment has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our team in the Dandenong Branch to identify, source and sell parts for our Volvo Construction Equipment.
Reporting to our very experienced Parts Manager, we are looking for those who are willing to put in a good day’s work and look after our customers. This role is integral to the daily operations of the business and CJD will provide 1st class training to get you up to speed with the Volvo Construction Equipment products we sell.
A day on the job will see you:
- Guiding our customers and your fellow colleagues to identify the parts they require.
- Ensuring consistent communication with customers regarding the status of their ordered parts.
- Prepare invoices and financial arrangements, and all of the other paperwork that goes with a smooth-running operation.
- Utilising the Company’s and manufacturer’s systems and catalogues to identify the relevant part or parts for the job.
- Getting involved in stock takes and stock rotation, when your Manager asks you for a hand.
Requirements for the role:
- A commitment to safety for yourself and your colleagues.
- Previous parts interpreting experience.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build trusting working relationships (internal & external).
- Know your way around a computer and Microsoft Office.
- Australian Driver’s Licence and Forklift Licence.
- A high level of professionalism, a can-do attitude, and willingness to work as a positive team member.
- Ability to pass a medical and drug & alcohol test.
