Regional Sales Manager – KENWORTH
CJD Equipment, a multi-award-winning dealer, has an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager – Kenworth Trucks to join our thriving Forrestfield Trucks branch.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will work closely with the rest of the team to develop sales strategies and achieve targets. With customer satisfaction at the forefront and a passion for all things trucks, your enthusiastic approach will ensure a high-quality service is delivered to all customers, current and new!
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote CJD’s Truck range: Market and sell truck models and heavy vehicle products directly to retail customers.
- Territory Management: Develop and execute strategies for effective territory management, focusing on expanding our customer base and market presence.
- Industry Networking: Establish your profile within the industry by building networks and utilising industry contacts to achieve business targets.
- Local Marketing: Conduct local marketing activities and present trucks to potential customers, showcasing their features and benefits.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure all trucks are prepared for delivery in a timely manner and meet a standard that exceeds customer expectations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of HD truck products and specifications.
- Sales Experience: Proven track record in selling heavy vehicles and developing relationships.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively in a competitive sales environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Presentation Skills: Strong ability to present and develop compelling proposals for customers.
- IT Proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, databases, and Customer Relationship Management tools.
- License and Education: Possession of a Heavy Vehicle license is desirable. A background in Business or Marketing is a plus.

- Proven experience in selling and a practical working knowledge of construction equipment.
- Deep understanding of the WA market, with the ability to adapt to its evolving landscape.
- A high level of drive, energy, and autonomy, with a can-do attitude dedicated to delivering excellence.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, capable of striking beneficial deals for both customers and the business.
- A charismatic personality, able to build rapport with customers and colleagues at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships based on honesty and integrity.
- A current driver’s license and the ability to travel regularly; capability to hold or obtain an MC or HR license is a plus.
