Resident Field Service Technician – Construction Equipment – Moonie, QLD

CJD Equipment have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Resident Field Service Technician to join the team! Reporting to the QLD Service Manager, this busy role provides the successful applicant the opportunity to build and develop a loyal customer base whilst being supported by our team at our Brisbane Branch. You will need to be based in the Darling Downs region as it is the regional area you will be required to service.  It is the high country at its best!

You will need to be able to demonstrate advanced diagnostic, technical and communication skills as you will be responsible for booking work in, dealing with customers, and performing the required work on-site and in the workshop. Appropriate trade qualifications are a must and have experience in construction and earthmoving equipment.

Requirements for the successful applicant: 

• a commitment to abide by all company and client HSE policies & procedures
• previous experience in field service in the construction & earthmoving industries
• exceptional customer service skills
• previous experience utilising computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogues
• flexibility to travel to sites and stay overnight if and when required
• excellent planning, time management, and self-motivation
• ability to work autonomously and a high level of organisational skills
• LR or MR Vehicle Licence (desirable but not mandatory)
• Air Conditioning Handling Licence (desirable but not mandatory)

Volvo Construction Equipment experience would be an advantage but not essential.
