Warehouse Manager

Due to an internal promotion, CJD Equipment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join the Team in our Campbellfield Branch!

Reporting to the National Parts Inventory Manager, this pivotal role will oversee all aspects of goods receipt, storage and dispatch, ensuring a smooth-running warehouse at all times. You will also be responsible for supervising and developing warehouse employees.

This role is suited to a hands-on leader with a strong background in warehouse management, who will drive the warehouse team towards excellence while fostering a culture of safety, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Daily Responsibilities: 

  • Safety: Promote and drive a safe working environment for your team.
  • Goods Receipt Management: Control all aspects of goods receipt, storage and dispatch.
  • Leadership: Supervise and develop warehouse employees, providing clear instructions to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and branches to improve overall operational efficiencies.
  • Stock Control: Manage the consolidation and return of obsolete and used stock back to the manufacturers. Control and reconcile remanufactured components.
  • Stock Take: Plan and manage the annual stock take process, ensuring accurate inventory counts and documentation.

Skills and Experience: 

  • Knowledge of warehouse and distribution operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, shipping, and inventory control practices.
  • Qualifications or relevant experience in leadership and managing warehouse operations.
  • Forklift Licence.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with both internal and external customers.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects to prioritise and plan under tight deadlines.
