Workshop Administrator – CJD Trucks

Working as a Workshop Administrator with us, you will be front and centre for future TRAINING AND UPSKILLING OPPORTUNITIES. This role is a steppingstone for so many AWESOME CAREERS with us.

So we are on the hunt for a motivated and team-oriented ADMINISTRATIVE SUPERSTAR! Reporting to the Service Manager at our Forrestfield workshop, you will be responsible for ensuring effective and efficient execution of service admin, as well as keeping the Workshop Team in check!

A day in the life: 

  • Creating, processing, and filing of all Service Department related documents
  • Assist with preparation of retail account and cash on delivery invoices
  • Ensure timecards are processed daily
  • Assist with maintenance of ‘work in progress’ and timely closure of all jobs
  • Assist with preparation of warranty claims
  • Assorted scanning of service-related documents
  • Create credit requests as required
  • Assist with incoming service customers, phone calls and bookings as required
  • Verify warranty delivery dates and coverage
  • Process labour, sublet and sundry costs

How to catch our eye: 

  • It goes without saying, but we’ll say it – must have a great attitude towards work and excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • You don’t need to be a computer genius, but know your way around Microsoft Office and general computer skills
  • Industry experience from within the Construction / Truck / Agricultural or Automotive industry would be an advantage but is NOT Essential, training will be provided
  • Attention to detail and the ability to juggle several tasks at one time
  • Ability to work well in a busy professional environment and as part of a team
  • Able to work rostered Saturday mornings
  • Current drivers’ licence
