Workshop Supervisor

- Can you drive a dedicated Service team to succeed by leading by example, and providing advanced service solutions to problems?
- Positively supporting the State Service Manager, you will not only grow and develop your skills but become a true leader of people and service operations
If you’re committed to success, this role will see you managing day-to-day activities in our busy Truck Service Department while building a solid career in an Australian-owned company for over 50 years.
You will need to ensure safety and quality are met at all times. Ensuring all service tasks are carried out efficiently and to the required standard, whilst assisting, mentoring, and supporting the service team in solving technical and operational problems which will continue to build our team dynamics and culture.
You will need your mechanical trade qualifications or related automotive background, be able to demonstrate capabilities to efficiently manage a busy Service department and most importantly be customer and team-focused will ensure we have the right person to lead our valuable team and service department.
To be considered for the role you will possess the following;
- Experience in a similar large team leader/supervisor/manager role
- Lead by example – people will naturally follow you
- Knowledge of Cummins / Caterpillar engine & American driveline (highly regarded)
- Previous experience utilizing computer-based diagnostic tools
- Experience with road transport equipment
- Awesome time management skills and being able to juggle several tasks
- A proven record of success in customer service and operations
- Effective communication in instructing, mentoring, and assisting all levels of people
- A team player who enjoys working together to identify technical problems
- A commitment to a workplace that values and endorses health and safety
