Workshop Technician

CJD Equipment is looking for a Workshop Technician to join their highly skilled Campbellfield Team. This busy role provides you with the opportunity to build and develop your skills whilst being part of a large service department and working on top brands like Volvo Construction Equipment.

Role requirements: 

• Carry out diagnosis and troubleshooting procedures relating to mechanical failures in a professional and timely manner
• Ensure all communications with customers are conducted in a manner reflecting respect and honesty
• Carry out warranty procedures, ensuring compliance at all times
• Write reports and keep daily records of work completed
• Maintain exceptional standards of safety and quality workmanship

Skills & Qualification required for the role: 

• Relevant trade qualification
• Construction equipment technical knowledge
• HR truck and forklift licence (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
• Experience using computer-based service diagnostic programs and parts catalogues
• Some availability for after hours and weekend work (as and if required – penalty rates apply)
• Well organised and self-motivated
• A commitment to abide by all company and client HSE policies & procedure
