CJD Equipment is seeking a friendly, organised Administration Assistant to join our Brisbane Branch!

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and accounts exposure who enjoys being the welcoming face of a busy, professional organisation.

Reporting to the State Administration Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house, administrative, and accounts functions.

What you’ll be doing

  • Provide general administration support across multiple departments

  • Assist with accounts payable (AP) tasks including invoice processing and data entry

  • Support banking, account reconciliation, and basic finance administration

  • Provide exposure and assistance across accounts receivable (AR) where require

  • Order stationery and manage day‑to‑day office needs

  • Deliver outstanding reception duties, acting as the first point of contact for customers, visitors, and staff

  • Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency

  • Manage inbox correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses

  • Coordinate internal and external mail and deliveries

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and professional reception area at all times

About you

  • Previous experience in reception, administration, accounts, or similar office-based roles

  • Accounts payable knowledge highly desirable, with exposure to AP/AR or invoicing preferred

  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail

  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel essential)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Proactive, reliable, and motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • Current driver’s licence

  • Able to complete pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
