Field Service & Workshop Technician – Residential Role

Kick off you new role working with world-class products such as the world-famous Kenworth & DAF Trucks and the first-class Volvo Construction Equipment. 

 ·         $65 – 70 per hour plus penalties

·         10 hour days plus overtime & weekend work if available.

·         Monday – Friday (Saturdays optional)

 This is a Kalgoorlie Residential Role. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing/Repair of Kenworth and DAF trucks and road trailers

• Solid experience working with heavy earthmoving equipment, particularly Volvo CE

• Diagnose, fault find and repair our customers' assets

• Conduct mechanical and electrical diagnostics

• Perform preventative maintenance

• Complete all CJD and customer paperwork

• Participate in skills and product training

• Promote and contribute to a safe working environment 

 About you:

• Heavy Vehicle trade qualifications 

• Trade qualified Plant Mechanic or HD Mechanic (Cert III Plant Mechanic AUR31220 or equivalent)

• Experience carrying out electrical diagnostics and repairs on different product types with minimal supervision

• Computer skills

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously and in a team

• A friendly approach to your work, developing good relationships with our customers and your team

• Be a natural at solving problems

• A HR driver's licence / Aircon ticket preferred or (willingness to obtain – assistance available for the right candidate)
