CJD Equipment is on the lookout for a motivated and technically curious IT Associate Infrastructure Engineer to join our supportive and forward-thinking IT team at our Guildford Head Office.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

  • Work across network and infrastructure environments.

  • Build hands-on experience in system and network administration.

  • Support real-world infrastructure projects and incident response.

Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide support for network and infrastructure monitoring and maintenance.

  • Carry out small infrastructure projects under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Participate in planning activities for large infrastructure projects.

  • Document critical infrastructure and network components.

  • Take responsibility for service requests and issues related to infrastructure or network components.

  • Monitor and report on network, system administration, and backup activities.

  • Perform ad hoc duties as requested by the IT Infrastructure Manager.

Requirements: 

  • Qualifications in Information Technology or a related field.

  • Technical aptitude with a strong problem-solving mindset.

  • Experience working in an operational IT environment.

  • Advanced computer knowledge, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • High-level attention to detail and critical thinking skills

  • Ability to analyse situations, solve problems, and take corrective action

  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines

  • Advanced communication skills – written, verbal, and advocacy

  • Professional presentation and a friendly, team-oriented attitude
