CJD Equipment is looking for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join our friendly team in Port Hedland! Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be a critical member of the team and your days will be spent supporting customers to identify the parts they require and picking, packing and moving orders, to ensure that our parts are delivered safely and on-time to our customers.

This is not a FIFO position
A day on the job will see you:

Learning and understanding the various parts we stock, so that you can easily identify them to pack and send to our customers.

Keeping in regular contact with our customers, advising the status of their ordered parts and exceeding customer expectations when able.

Preparing invoices, purchase orders and financial arrangements and all of the other paperwork that goes with a smooth-running operation.

Utilising the Company’s and manufacturer’s systems to identify the perfect part or parts for the job and providing parts support to internal workshop operations.

Getting involved in stock takes and stock rotation when required.

Supporting the delivery of parts to customers to their sites.
Your application will go to the top of our shortlist you have:

Mechanical knowledge, or experience working in spare parts, stores or warehousing within the heavy industries sector.

An understanding of the receivals and outgoing processes of warehousing.

Excellent communicator, both verbal and written. Ability to utilise these skills and respond to face to face, telephone and email enquiries relating to parts.

Maintaining regular contact with customers and internal departments to meet, develop and exceed expectations.

Sound computer skills with an understanding, or previous experience using M3 program.

Must have a minimum valid ‘C’ Class Licence.

Current Forklift licence, or ability to obtain.

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical.

Current Police Clearance.
