CJD Equipment are seeking a dedicated and friendly Receptionist / Administration Clerk to join the team at our Darwin Branch.

This role is the first point of contact for visiting customers and phone enquiries, you will need to have experience, skills, and knowledge in managing a busy switchboard, have high presentation standards, be a confident communicator and the unique ability to keep all the plates spinning at the same time.
It's fun and fast, assisting a variety of visitors, supporting customers, accepting deliveries, and guiding fellow work colleagues - all whilst ensuring front of house is kept neat and tidy and running in a professional manner.
A day on the job:

Greeting all visitors into Head Office - Darwin and ensuring all relevant health and safety requirements are met for visitors entering the building

Manage incoming phone calls, inclusive of redirection to the relevant person or department and communicating messages

Manage incoming and outgoing daily mail, including collection, sorting and distribution

Provide administration support for the Administration Manager e.g. data entry, accounts payable and purchase orders

Travel coordination - managing travel requirements for the NT team

Monthly reporting as required

Present a positive and professional image and maintain the reception area in a neat and tidy state

Ensure that reception desk is staffed at all times

Provide administrative support as required to various departments; and

Other duties as may be directed from time to time.
Requirements for the role:

Experience working in a busy receptionist

Understanding of Administrative tasks - accounts payable and purchasing orders

Possess a can-do attitude, you go the distance to deliver excellence to internal and external customers.

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Word.

An understanding of travel coordination would be highly regarded

Ability to complete a pre-employment medical and pass a drug and alcohol screening.
