Compact by design
The ultra-short tail radius makes the ECR18E ideal for confined spaces. The frame corner, swing post and cylinder remain within the tracks when digging alongside obstacles, helping maximise visibility and reduce the risk of machine damage.
The variable-width undercarriage can also reduce the machine's overall width to less than one metre, helping it access restricted jobsites.
Small but tough
A high-profile cast-iron counterweight wraps around the rear of the machine to protect vital components, while recessed all-around steel panels provide additional protection. Protected hydraulic hoses are routed inside the boom for greater durability.
Safe and easy operation
A roomy, uncluttered operator environment features a simple control layout, fingertip controls, large travel pedals and automatic two-speed travel. The ECR18E also includes a ROPS/TOPS/FOPS canopy, high-visibility entry step and orange seatbelt.
Best-in-class serviceability
The hinged fuel tank provides easy access to the engine compartment and daily check points, helping make routine maintenance faster and simpler. A 50-hour greasing interval further helps reduce maintenance requirements.
Transport with ease
With its low transport weight, automatic slew lock and four easily accessible tie-down points, the ECR18E is designed for straightforward transportation. It can be transported on a small trailer with up to three buckets and a hydraulic breaker while maintaining a total transport weight below two tonnes.
