The Volvo EW240E Material Handler is a 26-tonne wheeled excavator purpose-built for waste and recycling operations, powered by a 129 kW Volvo D6J engine that meets EU Stage V emission standards. With a 6.5 m straight boom and a choice of a 5.0 m gooseneck arm or 4.0 m sorting arm, it achieves a working reach of up to 12 metres and supports a range of factory-supplied orange peel grapples and sorting grabs.
