The New Generation DAF XD is designed to help drivers stay focused on the road and surrounding traffic. Primary functions, including TraXon gearbox controls, the digital display, audio and phone, are conveniently controlled from the steering wheel or column stalks, while secondary functions are positioned within easy reach on the dashboard.

The DAF XD features a range of active safety technologies designed to support driver awareness and control, including Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Emergency Brake Lights and DAF Turn Assist. The DAF XD driveline is designed to reduce operating costs, powered by the fuel-efficient PACCAR MX-11 engine, available from 340hp to 450hp. Combined with enhanced electronics, an optimised ZF TraXon or Allison automatic gearbox and PACCAR high-efficiency rear axles, it delivers strong torque at lower revs for improved fuel efficiency and performance across a wide range of applications.
