Marketing Co-ordinator

Position Overview

We seek an experienced, and dynamic Marketing Coordinator to join our team at CJD Equipment. In this role, you will be an integral member of the Marketing team, responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our industry-leading construction and heavy equipment products.

What you will do:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement innovative marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, social media, and events.
  • Manage the development and distribution of marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, and product catalogues.
  • Coordinate and oversee the planning and execution of digital content, advertising campaigns, trade shows, conferences, and other industry events.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and refine marketing strategies.
  • Maintain and update the company’s website, social media platforms, and other digital assets to ensure consistent branding and messaging.
  • Assisting with development and management, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Liaise and cultivate positive relationships with cross-functional teams, including sales, product management, customer service, and aftermarket to ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives.
  • Supporting your manager with internal communications and reporting.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, emerging technologies, including AI, and marketing trends to continuously improve the company’s marketing efforts.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a marketing coordinator or similar role, preferably in the construction or heavy equipment industry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and information.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.
  • Be proficient in traditional and digital marketing platforms.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign and Photoshop) and good creative ability, Microsoft Office Suite (including PowerPoint and Teams) and WordPress.
  • Knowledge of Meta ads, LinkedIn ads and Google Ad Words would be highly regarded.
  • Creativity and problem-solving skills to develop innovative marketing solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and personal integrity,
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a key eye for details and a results-driven mindset.
  • Passion for the construction and heavy equipment industry.
