Regional Sales Manager – Construction Equipment

CJD Equipment is on the lookout for an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our dynamic and successful sales team based at our Guildford Branch. Reporting directly to the State Sales Manager WA – CE, this role is pivotal in driving sales strategies and achieving ambitious targets. With customer satisfaction at the forefront, a passion for all things construction equipment, your approach will ensure a high-quality service is delivered to all customers, current and new!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and territory plans, maximizing face-to-face interactions with customers and potential clients.
  • Achieve sales targets by reviewing market conditions and market shares, reforecasting as required.
  • Build strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, internal stakeholders, and industry representatives.
  • Oversee the delivery, familiarisation, and handover of new construction equipment to excited new owners.
  • Mentor and coach team members and sales cadet to enhance product understanding and promotion.

About You:

  • Proven experience in selling and a practical working knowledge of construction equipment.
  • Deep understanding of the WA market, with the ability to adapt to its evolving landscape.
  • A high level of drive, energy, and autonomy, with a can-do attitude dedicated to delivering excellence.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, capable of striking beneficial deals for both customers and the business.
  • A charismatic personality, able to build rapport with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships based on honesty and integrity.
  • A current driver’s license and the ability to travel regularly; capability to hold or obtain an MC or HR license is a plus.
