Storeperson
CJD Equipment are currently seeking a Storeperson who is interested in developing and growing their skills. This is a great opportunity to become a part of a market-leading national business servicing the transport and construction industries.
This role incorporates all facets of warehousing and parts stock control, including both the physical and administrative aspects of receiving, picking and dispatching items as required.
Other duties include:
- Receiving incoming freight including stock orders, and receipting into inventory system
- Putting away incoming stock and assigning to pending customer orders
- Pick customer orders for pickup, delivery or dispatch
- Deliver parts to customers (vehicle provided)
- Training to identify, source and sell spare parts and other parts as required
- Prepare invoices and other finance arrangements for the sale of stock
- Provide parts support to internal workshop operations
Ideally, you will have:
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the use of computer programs (outlook, excel, word)
- The ability to work well under pressure and be a team player
- A current police clearance or willing to obtain one
- Valid ‘C’ class driver’s licence
- A forklift licence (recommended but not essential)
- Previous parts and/or warehousing experience (advantageous)
